Reservation rectifier
When a fault is detected thyristors control-channel (delayed conduction or no conduction) main rectifier operation is automatically switched to the forcing-rectifier.
If the fault persists, the exciter continues to work on forcing-rectifier to a scheduled stop. If the fault occurs on the forcing-rectifier, the engine and exciter to switched off.

Data Logger. Oscilloscope
The digital PLC-control system is provided by the data logger. In the non-volatile memory 31 are stored waveform of events: starts/stops the engine, on/off the power of control system.
Statistical information in the history:
- Total operating time of the control system and the engine
- Quantity of emergency shutdowns of the engine (counters for each type of accident)

Advanced oscilloscope unit 

View waveforms from data logger and statistics possible with Ajuster software (reading data by USB interface) and operator panel (Linux-based, color TFT display with touch-screen). Operator panel, provides extended service for data logging:
  1. Storage waveforms and statistics on the SD-card (can be removed)
  2. Waveform - a continuous record of 30 days (ring-record)
  3. Waveform, and statistics can be copied to USB flash-drive
  4. SSH access to files is available via Ethernet
  5. Using the operator panel, can view the waveform of any event, within an arbitrarily given time interval
